You will be a proactive employer engagement specialist with a track record in achieving results, developing networks and maximising employer caseloads. You will possess a passion for education and training, understanding how employers can raise their productivity through workforce development.
You will be responsible for generating employer engagement opportunities and develop an extensive network of businesses throughout Hertfordshire. Managing a caseload of employers you will identify their skills needs and provide an account management service to signpost and facilitate referrals to a wide range of skills solutions.
You will be a champion of technical education and develop excellent knowledge of the skills solutions in Hertfordshire by building excellent relationships with our skills and employment training providers. The role will be promoting skills across a range of different sectors, particularly film and TV, green, built environment, life sciences, technology, hospitality and tourism, health and engineering.
You will get involved in networking events and create event opportunities – both webinar and face to face. You will also support content and resource development for Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal – website and social - including case studies, good news stories, employer resources and promoting career opportunities.
- Knowledge and experience of the skills solutions available to business
- Strong level of local knowledge and connection, with necessary local credibility to hit the ground running with referral and delivery partners.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with referral partners, training providers, and employers.
